
Luis Navarro is a journalist from Mexico residing in the United States.
Luis began his journalistic career at the age of 17, writing an opinion column for a local newspaper in his home state of Jalisco.
He has gained experience in various media outlets. He was a correspondent for the newspaper El Occidental in Guadalajara, Jalisco. He served as Director and Host of the Local Newscast on Cable, Channel 12 in Ocotlán, Jalisco, and as a National Correspondent for TVC from Jalisco.
Years later, Luis Navarro had the opportunity to host the Morning Newscast on Cable in Mexico City, which was transmitted to cable systems across Mexico. At the same time, he was Chief of Information for TVC, a division of PCTV, a company that produces television content for various channels with different topics.
He was a reporter, news presenter, and producer of newscasts for Univision Indiana.
Luis Navarro has been a National News Correspondent for Univision, the largest Spanish-language television network in the United States. He was also the producer and host of the television program En Contexto con Luis Navarro for Telemundo Indy, covering the counties of Central Indiana.
Currently, Luis Navarro is the Producer and Host of the news magazine and Public Affairs show En Contexto Indiana con Luis Navarro on Univision Indianapolis.
Luis Navarro’s work has been recognized with awards and nominations for his journalistic performance, including the prestigious Telly Award and Emmy Awards. He also received First Place in Minority Affairs from the Society of Professional Journalists of Indiana.
Luis Navarro is an active member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists (NAHJ).
